Management Team

Greg Clarke

Managing Director

Greg Clarke established Digicom in 1997. His formative years were spent in the family fruit & veg wholesale business. With his degree in Marketing from Trinity College in 1985 he began his long career in the Office Technology industry. After 7 years work experience in both the UK and America he returned to Ireland in 1995.
Greg joined The Dublin Chamber in 1995 in order to establish business contacts after working abroad for 7 years. When he set up Digicom 2 years later he found the Chamber delivered a network of like minded business people he could share, learn and grow with. By volunteering for committee work and getting involved where possible, he found it beneficial for both keeping up to date with what was going on in Dublin as well as allowing him to contribute to some of the issues affecting the City.

Over the years Greg has helped with many successful initiatives including the Chamber Ambassadors Programme which facilitates easy on boarding of new members and fast integration within the Chamber Network. Greg is also proud of his involvement developing the concept behind the successful Business Owners Network (BON) which ensures that decision makers network with fellow decision makers / business owners.

Greg is a graduate of the Marketing Institute and is married to Tina with 3 children, Rebecca, Ava and Ben. He enjoys all sports, actively cycles and coaches junior level Gaelic and Soccer.

Greg is past Chairman and current board member of www.bizworld.ie, a not for profit, teaching entrepreneurship skills to primary school students. To date BizWorld has delivered its programmes to over 5000 Children with an ambition to grow this to over 50,000 helping develop future Irish employers versus future employees. As well as Managing Director of Digicom Greg actively mentors new start up companies in Dublin.

Peter Fox

Business Development Director

Peter Fox is Digicom’s Business Development Director with Corporate Sales / Marketing and Executive Management experience across Telecommunications and Information Technology industries for over 20 years such as Motorola and Verizon. Peter is a Graduate of the Marketing Institute of Ireland (MMI) and also holds a Diploma in Business Leadership from the Institute of Management in Ireland (IMI).

Skilled in every facet of management from sales, marketing, HR, finance, and operations, his passion is for delivery to the client, beyond their expectation. Peter is certified to design and deliver Cisco Video and Polycom Telepresence managed solutions.

Declan Murray

Operations Manager

Declan has 20+ years leadership experience in Operations, quality, supply chain and commercial management. A chartered Engineer (C.Eng MIEI, Eur ing,) and Six Sigma Black belt. Declan previously worked internationally with leading MNC’s – Jabil, Motorola, Solectron and Digital Equipment.

Previous experience includes: Global account Management; Global Quality and Environment Director; Business Change management restructuring Business performance and Programme/project management developing new business opportunities globally.

Barry Mulligan

Office Technology Sales Manager

Barry has over 20 years experience in Sales and Sales Management working in a multinational environment.

Barry is a member of the ISSM (Institute of Sales and Marketing Management) and has a detailed knowledge of the print and communications marketplace.

Brett Alexander

AV Project Manager

Digicom’s Project Manager, Brett Alexander, has a vast amount of Audio Visual design and implementation experience. He has completed the Applied Project Management Programme, at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick.

He has been manufacturer trained by: Sony, Polycom, Cisco, Extron, Kramer, HP Halo Video Conferencing, Avid, Apple, Lifesize and Pictel. From 2001 – 2007, he was the Lead Hardware Engineer for Dreamworks, LA, California, USA and from 1999 – 2001, he was Hardware Engineer for Warner Brother Animation, LA, California.

Philip Howard

Service Manager

After spending the last 8 years in the UK and 12 years in Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin before that, Phil has returned to his hometown and joined Digicom in February as our new Service Manager. With a track record of over 18 years in Operations, Planned and Unscheduled Maintenance, Procurement, Resourcing, Warehousing & Logistics, Planning and People Management, Phil is bringing a different approach to running the department based on his experience gained across a range of different industries.

John O’Brien

Financial Controller

John O’Brien is the company’s Financial Controller and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Educated at Blackrock College, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte Ireland, and post qualification spent a number of years in the firm’s insolvency and reconstruction division. John then spent the following twenty years with the Irish National Insurance Company and later with Hibernian Insurance Company, in a variety of roles within the finance function of these major organisations.

He joined Digicom in 2007 and is responsible for the company’s Finance and HR function.
